So you’ve downloaded a fabulous printable and you’re ready to get organized. But before you dive in, I’m going to share some supplies that highly recommend when using printables to get organized.
1. Printer, Ink & Paper
Naturally, the first thing you need to print off your stuff is a printer with ink. Honestly, most printers will do just fine. But here is a very budget-friendly printer with great reviews.
I do however, recommend having heavy card stock on hand to print. It can be super duper handy when printing out things you want to be more sturdy.
Don’t want to use a bunch of your ink? Office supply stores and FedEx have copy options. I often use their services when printing a bunch of color printables.
2. CRAFT Paper Cutter or Scissors
As someone who likes clean and straight cuts, but can’t always manage that with scissors…I love my craft paper cutter. Make trimming up chore cards, bookmarks etc super easy.
3. Personal Laminator & Laminator Sheets
Instead of constantly reprinting printables, many printables (like chore charts) are reusable when laminated.
I honestly use my laminator at least once a week for something or other. Awesome for cleaning checklists, chore charts, and other printables that can be checked off and then erased. Don’t forget to grab some laminator sheets!
4. Dry-Erase Markers
Once laminated, use a fine-tipped dry erase marker to write, check, or cross off!
5. 3-Ring Binder
For planning, organizing, and budgeting printables, I highly recommend organizing your printables in 3 ring binders.
6. Tab Dividers
Don’t forget tab dividers to organize your 3-rings binders. I love theses pocket dividers that can keep loose papers organized.
