When you make it fun, you can pretty much get kids to do anything. Case in point: dinner last night. .

For whatever reason, my kids have refused to eat sandwiches. 🥪 Which means that when it comes to packing school lunches, I’ve had to be pretty resourceful. .

But with three kids starting school in 2 weeks (I know, so early. But it’s a million 🔥degrees so they might as well be in A/C 🤷‍♀️), I needed more options that humus and pita chips for school lunches. .

So I needed to figure out a way to get my kids to try sandwiches. And last night, it hit me: make it a sandwich party. 🥪🎉

I cut up the sandwiches into bite-sized pieces and I made little flags out of toothpicks and sticky notes. Then I wrote the name of the sandwich on it.

Oh my heavens, they LOVED it! My kids went from making gagging noises when I would even mention the word sandwich to trying each and every kind. .
